Crops of vigorous growth and heavy production can be grown in Fertile Fibre as it contains slow release nutrients giving strong, even growth. But as with other mediums and composts, foliar or liquid feeds are required to provide easily available nutrients to give lush growth. Ideally feeding should begin before the plant requires it, so that there is no loss of plant growth and therefore no loss of production.
To add extra plant food whilst potting add a small amount of 5F's general fertiliser, the amount is dependent on the size of the pot or container.
To liquid feed, Nu Gro at the recommended rates (regular feeding 5ml/1litre).
