Sterilized Loam

Posted on

What is Loam?

Loam is a soil which combines clay, silt and sand. It combines good water and nutrient retention with drainage. It is ideal for growing crops.

Why is it sterilized?

It is flame sterilized to stop weed seeds and soil-born fungi from being imported.

Available within composts and separately

We combine sterilized loam into our peat-free potting loam composts. Alternatively you can buy loam separately to make up your own blend of compost.
